Funding for Forestry and Farming Events
The CLA have organised a series of early evening events
throughout the region, during August.
The events will be led by Abbey Forestry and will
outline the funding opportunities for forestry and
related activities under the new RDPE (Rural Development
Plan for England).
Bio-energy Infrastructure Grants
A new round of the Bio-energy Infrastructure Scheme was
launched on 6 June 2008. Projects must be based in
England, and is open to farmers, foresters, businesses,
local authorities and charities.
The Scheme provides grants to help the development of
the supply chain required to harvest, process, store and
supply biomass to heat, combined heat and power, and
